Jirka graduated from FSI BUT in Brno with a focus on engineering technology and industrial management. Immediately after graduation he joined a multinational medical company for almost 9 years, where he worked in the process engineering and lean manufacturing department. He led teams and projects across operations to build a lean culture.​ He specializes in implementing a Lean culture, which he sees as a key part of the daily operations of the company. He focuses on setting up and effectively using processes and tools that lead to continuous improvement in company performance. He sees the most value in working directly with the people on the shop floor, as they have the deepest knowledge and experience necessary to achieve optimal results.​
